Making Sterling Silver Granules

Hello,

I have a two part question.

What is the best/correct/safe way to:

  1. make sterling silver; and

  2. produce granules (is that the right term, or pellets maybe?) from
    the resulting alloy?

If someone could give me enough details (or direct me to the info.)
to carry out the procudure I’d be very greatful.

Thanks in anticipation,

This is the thread the last time this question came up.

There was one response which followed that I do not see in the
thread, and that was why pour the mix into water after stirring, the
answer was to improve the consistency of the mix when remelted. I was
quit keen on this thread as I have not done this and found it very
interesting. I can not give credit to who made the above comment, but
as I recall it was one of the more senior (knowledge wise) posters on
this forum.

Anyway search the archives you may find it, the thread and all the
responses were very educational.
