Howdy Folks, I am taking a beginners silversmithing course and am
enjoying it more that I expected. Especially considering I dislike
the maintanence required of silver jewelry! I know there are a couple
of new ‘sterling’ alloys (silicon and germanium I guess - others?)
but I am ignorant of their suitability for fabrication. Who carries a
line of sheet and wire. Can the ‘standard’ fluxes be used? Will I
need to pickle? Any resources available to help with
