Has anyone tried a Vevor microscope? I’m a studio jeweler who cannot afford Leica

as well as leica and meiji microscope
i believe people have also mentioned a few other brands as well!
as there have been alot of great posts about these microscopes, and they often mention many brands in one thread.
this forum has been around for decades and the sesrch archives are a treasure trove of great information!

I have a vision scientific. Same scope as a Vevor, just less marketing. Check my posts or search for that brand and you’ll find it. I use it daily and recommend it.

Thanks Brennan! This is just what I needed to hear. I am at the New Approach school this week doing their stone setting comprehensive class and I realize I really need one because I cannot see this stuff.

I’m doing the one week setting class. If you had asked me yesterday I would have had a different attitude, but today I’d say DO IT! The second day is really tough and I was having trouble seeing, hence the questions about scopes. The scope is magical. I tried not to use it because of the cost, but now I’d say it’s indispensable.
I’m so excited to go to their school next spring! Would you be willing to send me a little message or post on here about how you like it after you’re done?
And yeah, the microscope is a lifesaver! It really helped me learn faster.
