I have been doing wax casting for over 25 years,your explanation
is very good but,you should impress upon casters the need to use
distilled water. Why you say,OK why.Distilled water does not
contain any chrolides which can and do cuase problems.It does
not contain chlorides which ture into gas and can cause
porosity.At the present time and for at least 15 years have used
the castex method,the safer and most complete way to cast,for the
hobbist.My flask size is2by3 inches and I can cast in one half
hour.From time flask goes in and out.My hobby is casting chains
in silver gold and copper.All without the use of solder.
