[Looking4] Tool repair service

I have a couple of reciprocating hammers and a quick change hand
piece that I need to have rebuilt. The guys I had phone numbers for
are disconnected. Anyone know someone that works on these items.

Thanks Frank

How about trying the manufacturers???

You may want to give Armstrong Tool and Supply a call. They have a
local guy in Mich. that I know repairs Handpieces. Their # is
800-446-9694. GREAT people!!

I have used a guy who calls himself, The Jewelry Equipment Doctor (I
think), in Colorado (Colorado Springs… I think). He has repaired a
few ultrasonics, hand pieces and a ring stretcher for us in the
past. He has always done a good job, not super fast but I didn’t
care. I don’t have his number with me. If you can’t track him down
e-mail me and I’ll find it for you if you’d like.

Pfingst, would be my first choice or their respective manufacturers…
The saws however are going to be harder to have repaired if out of
warranty. Pfingst will work on anyone’s handpiece equipment on last
check., however if they are under a year or up to three old and still
under warranty having them repaired in other than the manufacturers
recommended service facility will void most warranties… rer

Hi John,

The Jewelry Equipment Dr. has moved.

just curious as to what do you folks fix?

Scott

Scott, you asked what the Jewelry Dr. repairs. My experience has been
with ultrasonics and flex shaft machines. The Dr. is painfully honest
and does great work. If you’re about to make a big investment in a
machine, ask which brand they see the least!! It’ll help you decide
on the best purchase.

General disclaimers here - only a satisfied customer,
Judy in Kansas

The Jewelry Equipment Dr. Repairs most equipment used by jewelers
such as: flex shaft motors, handpieces, ultrasonic cleaners,
microscopes, electroplating equipment, casting equipment, and steam
cleaners.

We are a factory warranty repair center (factory pays for the repair,
if in warranty) for ultrasonic cleaners made by Healthsonics, Elma,
and L&R. Many ultrasonic cleaners labeled with the sellers brand name
are made by one of these companies. This includes many ultrasonic
cleaners with the Gesswein, A & A (Adfa), Otto-Frei (Ottosonic),
Stuller (Stullersonic), RioGrande, and Ikohe names.

You can always call (208-267-1683), or email [johncranor at aol dot
com] to find out if your ultrasonic cleaner is in warranty.

Thank you.
