Good day,
In the past I used a plating company to strip gold wash from
sterling. The results were fantastic in that the sterling surface
wasn’t damaged and could just be lightly polished afterwards. My
plater went out of business and I’m now looking for a company to
strip fine silver from a sterling coffeepot. This piece was fire
damaged and most of the fine silver has blistered off the sterling,
hence the need for stripping. Does anyone know of a company that
offers this service?
