[Looking4] Non-toxic epoxy

Happy New Year Orchidians!

In a recent magazine, either Art Jewelry or Jewelry Artist, I saw a
small article/ad for a non-toxic, two part epoxy that I thought
sounded wonderful. Now that I want to order the product, I can’t find
the Can anyone help me out?

Thanks so much.

Many types of cured epoxies are used in food handling, storage and
medical applications. Uncured epoxies are another story and I am not
certain how non-toxic they can be. I can’t find any mention of
consumer packaged non-toxic epoxy adhesives on the net. And all the
ones I did find were non-toxic when cured with no obvious comments on
un-cured resin.

I know what you’re referring to; I saw the potential fun and had to
order it myself! It’s Magic-Glos by Lisa Pavelka, and it’s available
at Covered in Clay (Las Vegas), although I don’t know whether it’s
toxic or not. They’re online (coveredinclay.com), so you can order it
over the internet.

With shipping, 1oz costs about $14 USD, so it’s a little pricey.

I think you’re thinking of the new ICE resin from Objects &
Elements.

I’ve worked with it a little, and I love it.
