[Looking4] [Durham, NC] Goldsmith

As much as I hate to do it, I must move off of the bench (not quite
totally, I have to maintain at least some degree of sanity) and start
paying more attention to the running of my retail business.

This position will require advanced skills in design (hopefully
better than mine), fabrication, wax carving and stone setting.
Complex repairs and restorations of antique jewelry will also be a
part of the job. Hand engraving (air assisted or not) would be a big
plus as would experience with a microscope and a laser. Pay is
negotiable and will be commensurate with experience and skill level.
We also offer benefits and a relocation allowance. By the way, the
Research Triangle area of North Carolina really is a great place to
live.

Please contact me off-list with a resume and portfolio. Examples of
the kind of work involved are on our website (which is one of the
things that desperately and obviously needs my attention).

Thanks to all.
