[Looking for] vulcanizer

Hi all,

I’m in the market for a new or used vulcanizer. Would love to hear
from anyone with a used one for sale or if you know of a company
that sells new ones for a great price.

(By the way, I’ve checked eBay already and it doesn’t look like that
will work out – people keep bidding up used equipment to beyond the
price of new.

Thank you for your help.

Elaine You can get a brand new one from 46 Jewelry Supply for $
298.00

Heating elements and Thermostat are the guts of a Vulcanizer. US
made guts alone cost around $100.00 approx. Plus switch, power cords
& metal etc so at a price of $ 275.00 a brand new US made Vulcanizer
& shipping cost of $ 23.00.

I will look around for a used one & let you know

Elaine; I have been using a vulcanizer made by a company called
Haechtel Inst. Co it’s an electro-vulc Mark1 and have made close to
3000 molds with this beast, I just tried to google a search for the
company but no good, I bought this one from the old Le` Bourget Bros.
in Santa Monica about 12 or 13 years ago the Plattens are 8 by 6
inches and this is the second one I bought, when I bought it it cost
right at 400.00 the Kerr was nearly 800.00 the first one I bought was
still working fine when I decided that I wasn’t going to do Jewelry
any more it was nearly 10 years old then and had made Many Many
molds. I don’t know where you could find a new one but they are
defiantly worth the money,

We have a new in the box Grobet model 22.550. This is the one with
independent top and bottom platten thermostats. List price on it is
$385.00. We would do this one unit for $270 plus shipping.
