Looking for engravers

Folks, Once again, I’m hoping the Orchid community can help me help
some folks. I’m involved in the US Naval Academy’s family support
organization (my niece is a student there). Each year as part of
the graduation / commissioning ceremonies from the US Naval Academy,
the new Navy and Marine officers are presented with swords that
become part of their dress uniform. Most choose to get the swords
engraved at some point. However, the Academy has recently changed
some of the ordering processes for the swords, leading to several
families looking for local and reputable jewelers who could do the
engraving for them.

If you would like to be referred to one of these families, or if you
know of an engraver who you feel is really reputable and skilled,
could you please let me know? I’ll happily coordinate getting the
engravers’ names to the families.

In particular right now, there are families in Richboro,PA and
Houston, TX who are looking for references. But there will be
others…

Thank you so much!

Hi Karen,

However, the Academy has recently changed some of the ordering
processes for the swords, leading to several families looking for
local and reputable jewelers who could do the engraving for them.

You might also check with gun shops. Some folks have their guns
engraved. A person experienced in engraving guns could probably
handle a sowrd as well. A gun shop may have an engraver on staff or
know where to contact one.

Hi: Karen I’m a hand engraver with 17 years of service for the
jewelry trade. Could you please give me a little more info about the
engraving on the swords before I Say if it’s something I would get
involved with, it sounds like your looking for machine engraving not
hand if that’s the case the swords can be engraved at any local
trophy shop in the recipient’s area.

If you would like to see my work go to www.handengrave.com the site
shows the process of hand engraving with samples of my work. You’re
more then welcome to e-mail me from my site with any question you
have.

God Bless

I have to second this referal. I shared office space with Ricky for
several years and have seen him do some very amazing things with
