Can somebody please tell me when is the next jewelry show in Las
Vegas? I am planning to go there at the beginning of june but I might
change my schedule to attend to the show. I am specially interested
in machinery for manufacturing jewelry and in all thing related to
lapidary (semi-precious stones). Any will be greatly
appreciated.

David, The show in Las Vegas opens Friday, May 31 and closes on
Tuesday, June 4th. It is an amazing show, enjoy.
David, Las Vegas starts with the GLDA Show on May 28-30. AGTA, JCK,
G+LW, and GeoExpositions all start on 31 May and end on June 2. I
will be set up with G+LW this year. From past years I can tell you
there is not a lot of either jewelry equipment or lapidary equipment
available at the show. You need to bring proof of business to get
into most of the shows. Only GeoExpositions is open to the public.
JCK is almost impossible to get into unless you own a Jewelry Store
Front. Bring lots of money as everything in Las Vegas is about
money. The only thing they do not have a surcharge on is toilet
use. Opps should not have mentioned that out loud.

David, Laurie is right Vegas is a great show. You should have a plan
of attack for this show. It is so big you need to know where you want
to go and who you want to see. Wear comfortable shoes

proof that you are either a retailer or wholesaler in order to gain
admittance. I strongly urge you to contact Jewelers Circular
Keystone magazine for all the particulars.
