Kiln glazing stone figurines

I just installed a Duncan kiln in my yard and am now putting Dukast
2500 LW mortar (from Dusquene, Que) into molds to make kiln furniture
(posts and shelves). The recommended “seasoning” of the furniture
before use requires carefully and gradually raising/lowering and
holding temperatures through a range to 700 F after which the units
will withstand the 2500 final T of the kiln. Can anyone recommend a
pyrometer up to 2500?

I mainly want to use the kiln to test mineral glazes. I am wondering
if stone figurines carved from argillite and other rocks may look
better if given a final gloss from mineral enamels rather than
polishing.
