I’m fortunate to be going on a “safari” to Kenya and Tanzania. If my
previous travel experience is any guide, I’ll be taken to a gift
shop and be offered the bargain of a lifetime…jewels fit for a king
for a mere pittance… I would like to take advantage of this once
in a lifetime trip…my budget for ‘stuff’ is about $1000 I’m a
senior citizen, but a student in ECU’s Metal Design degree program.
Any advice offline would be appreciated even if it includes “…just
keep your money and bring it home with you.”
