Juried exhibition showcasing metalsmithing and art jewelry

The Florida Society of Goldsmiths and The Morean Arts Center (home
of the Chihuly Collection) are hosting Storytelling in Metal, is a
juried exhibition showcasing metalsmithing and art jewelry that
requires the story of the inspiration behind these works of art.

Judging will be based on the following elements: Creativity,
Originality, and Craftsmanship. You do not need to be a member of FSG
to enter. Enter now!

Prizes: $1,000+ in prizes and awards

Sept. 3 - Submission Deadline on-line
Oct. 7 - Acceptance Notification
Oct. 28 - Selected Work Due
Nov. 12- Dec. 28, 2016 - Exhibition dates
Nov. 12 - Opening Reception
Jan. 2, 2017 - Work Returned

Eligibility: The exhibition and competition is open to ALL metal
and/or jewelry artists. No larger than 10 inches x 10 inches x 10
inches.

Jewelry or Metal work only. Work must be original works, of artist’s
design, fabricated by the artist, completed within the past two
years, and not previously exhibited at the Morean. The juror has
final authority for selection. All work must be for sale. Retail
price not to exceed US$5,000.
