[Joob Seek][Boston] Studio Jeweler

North Bennet Street School Jewelry Making and Repair program
graduate seeks a part- to full-time position with a studio jeweler or
jewelry store in the Boston/Cambridge/Somerville, MA area or Boston
suburbs. I experience in all aspects of hand-fabrication including
annealing, soldering, forging, cold-connecting, piercing, sawing, and
filing of silver, golds, and platinum.

My stone setting experience includes hand-made bezels for cabochons,
along with bezel and prong setting of faceted round stones, bezel and
prong setting of oval faceted stones and prong setting of pear and
marquis shaped faceted stones. Wax carving, lost-wax casting, and
laser-welding experience I also gained through the North Bennet
Street School program.

I am looking to help in any and all aspects of a jeweler’s world; I
have experience in production work and as a metalsmith’s assistant
through Silver Moon Design in Natick, MA. I also have taught adults
and children though Silver Moon Design, as well as assisted in
teaching workshops at the North Bennet Street School. I am a quick
and eager learner who aims to please and is willing to help however
I’m needed. I am also open to sub-contracted work to do in my home
studio as I do have transportation and my own tools.
