Goldsmith/Bench Jeweler position is located in our main shop in West
Hartford, CT, where you will be working with two other jewelers, an
engraver, and with our certified watchmaker.
The ideal candidate must be an experienced bench jeweler who can
work with all types of jewelry repair including 14K, 18K, sterling
silver and platinum as well as stone settings. Skills desired
include a strong attention to detail, creativity and the ability to
work in a team-oriented environment. Collaboration and the ability
to clearly communicate with the sales staff are very important as is
producing extremely high quality work within deadlines for clients.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE: Silver, Gold and Platinum repairs and sizing,
all types of stone settings: bead setting, channel, bezel and flush.
Further skills needed include finishing and polishing, soldering,
and familiarity with machine engraving.
