[Job Offer] Bench Jeweler & Stone Setter - Seattle

An eco-friendly fine jewelry company located in Seattle with a focus on ethical and eco-friendly wedding bands and engagement rings. We are a busy and hard-working shop, but in a casual, creative and supportive studio atmosphere that values diversity.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Soldering and fabrication of silver, gold and platinum
-Finish work
-Casting clean-up
-Jewelry assembly
-Maintain clean work-spaces
-Continuously pursue personal and shop improvement

Preferred Skills & Requirements:
-Fabrication
-Finish work and polishing
-Organized with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to work independently
-Completion of a jewelry program and/or 1-3 years jeweler experience
-Ability to complete a bench test for assessment purposes
-Must be extremely reliable
-Enjoys working in a creative environment
-Ability to set precious faceted stones in heavy walled bezel, prong, bead, flush and pin setting a plus but not required for this position.

Part-time position (16-35 hours a week) hourly DOE + sick & vacation PTO, at our studio in Seattle/Wallingford. This is an in-person position and will be working masked in the same room as another person while training. Covid vaccine will eventually be required for in-studio positions.
