has anyone used the Jewelry Stamping Press or Stamping Pliers from
Harper. do you like them? do they work? what about the ring marking
tools from Microstamp: Ring Marking Pliers, Ring Press or The Ring
Set? I don’t like the hammer and punch, I want to try something else.

I used to use a press similar to the Harper - I don’t know the brand
of it, but it was black finish, and it’s commonly offered in places
like Rio Grande. It worked great. Very easy to use, easy to get a
good impression. We don’t have one because of the expense - getting
the machine, plus all of the stamps, for what is basically a
convenience. But yes, they work real good, if you get into it.
