Jewelry schools in Seattle

Check out North Seattle Community College. Lynne Hull is the
instructor there and I think she’s great. She has been the
inspiration for many of the Seattle Metal Guild’s members. The
lab/shop is extremely well equipped and the tuition is reasonable.
There are both day and evening classes; credit and non-credit. Lynn
is a graduate of the University of Washington and has a good knowledge
of what and who are around the area. I took several classes there
about two years ago, before we moved to Wyoming. Wish I had started
sooner.

The metals classes at the UW are also good, but hard to get into. I
think they require a pretty strong portfolio and some experience.
Again, Lynn is a good person to know about that.
