I slipped by with semi-professionals and my own work until I had
recomendations from other artists I knew and respected. O.K.,
they were also getting into shows that I wasn’t.
Larry Sanders (the photographer in the midwest that I mentioned
this week) also visits some of the shows I do with some of his
sample slides in hand so I could see some of his work first.
Make sure they are familiar with the kind of work you want
shot…and ask for recomendations.
