My husband and I will be spending the first two weeks of September in
Hawaii on Kauai and then a few days on Lanai.
We always enjoy visiting jewelry galleries and shops when we travel
and would like to know of any favorite places to include while on
these islands. We are somewhat familiar with Kauai as we have
visited before but did not have the benefit of personal
recommendations. 
Any suggestions along these lines or regarding events scheduled in
this timeframe or places to experience? We are not much into
"tourist" activities and usually avoid tours with the notable
exception of twice seeing Kauai by helicopter. Once was not enough!
