Jewelry Arts Schools in Sacramento

Here is a question to you…Do you know of any schools in the
Sacramento, CA area (Sacramento, Roseville, Citrus Heights, etc.). I
have a client who is now finishing her law degree (lots of student
loans) and comes from a gem/jewelry family background. She is
looking to take classes on jewelry making-fabricating, casting etc.
She wants to take this as an elective, not a 4 year program…I
suggested looking at the junior college level as well as adult
education programs. But I wonder if there is not someone out there
that is part of an art program or does private lessons(like I have
done in the past) in this area. Thanks for any thoughts and you can
e-mail me at or site

Cheers from drippy San Francisco, Ca

The very best instructor, Monty Clarke, teaches jewelry
making/fabricating, casting, enameling, and the whole metal
fabrication experience at American River College, with great
equipment and availability of tools and supplies. Not to be missed.

Good luck, Marisa Bowers
