Jeweler's Bench Restoration

I recently purchased a heavily used jeweler’s bench and restored it
back into shop use. The remarkable thing is that I remembered to take
a picture now and then during the restoration process. If you are

Well done Daniel, that’s a mighty fine looking bench you have there.

Wow! What a beautiful piece of woodwork you revived. Good work!

I have a big old mahogany desk that I picked up at a thrift store
that I’m using now but plan on turning it into a Frankenbench. It has
a solid mahogany top that is 1 1/4 inch thick. I will pass it on to
my son when I’m done using it.

you should post these on the Bench Exchange. Do you mind me asking
where you happened on this bench? I am in the market for a used
bench and would love any advice as to where I could find one?

thanks Angela
