I just recieved my new japanese ingot forging hammer, by Saign Charlestein! (cross peen version) (coke bottle handle)
I am so happy with it that i have to share photos! so that you can see size and scale…
the weight is perfect (for me) at 695grams/ 1.85lbs
(my 2.5lb sledge was too heavy and hard to control)
the forward weighted dogs head style of this hammer is very comfortable and easy to control
the squatty broad peen moves metal fast.
i think i have solved my sledge hammer issue!
