Hello, The discussion about purple gold made me remember a
reference about Japanese metal craftspeople using many different
alloys to achieve various colors the way that we use patinas.
Does anyone know of a good book, in English, on the subject? I
would also appreciate favorite formulas. I made patterned chain
mail mixing shibuichi and sterling jumprings last spring and
loved the color contrast.
