i am fascinated by this Emmertt universal bench vise!! especially the “pin vise” jaw (there are THREE jaws) that allows for clamping of tapered, non- parallel items…
and! it rotates so many ways!

I saw this on Facebook last night. Yeah, that is a nice design! It’s way too large and overbuilt for most jewelers. I think if they made one that was half that size it would be in just about every jewelers shop.
I wonder if we can contact the manufacturer and see if they have a downsized version.

OMG!! No. OK, Hell no. LOL. I have a mess of bench mate stuff. Some really useful sometimes. Really useful. I have a boony doon vise I’d kill you if you tried to take it. I saw on a plain old wooden bench pin. I put a LOT stuff in my older than time Victor ball vise with useful holding tools. You can wiggle that bench mate stuff around any way you want (and I do love it), but you can’t position it like a solid big ass ball vise. That thing looks like it could hurt you :). I like gadgets, but no hell no.
