I’m a jewleryartisit/silversmith specializing in one-of-a-kind
pieces, usually using unusual I work out of my
studio, which I built in my back yard. I have a “regular” job
working for a major software company to support my jewlery and
gemstone habit. I hope to, one day, move into my jewelry full
time.

Well Dave, that’s how most of us get started…read lots about gem
stones and metalsmithing techniques…take classes and go into gold.
Unless you’re George Jensen, silver jewelry doesn’t pay that much. Lots
of luch…from MMM who started in jewelry 5 years ago just like you.
