Instructor of Jewelry Technology at OSU-Okmulgee. Have had
instruction from 3 generations of jewelers. I remember when gold
was $33 dollars an ounce. Also, from the gold rush of 79-81 when
1ct d-IF were 68K p/c. Have had a diet of Lazare Kaplan Ideal cut
diamonds and watched as the biggest diamond companies crapped out
as the prices dropped(Baumgold). Wax carving is my forte’, but as
we all know a full service shop needs fabrication. I never
worked in SS(only karat gold and Platinum) until coming to
OSU-Okmulgee in '95. We’ve had many great students who have
gone on to win or place in design contests. I enjoy the chaos
of a busy place. I have found one.
