Hello, my name is Nick Hazel and I started out in this industry
as a Geologist where I found a love for I learned how
to facet from Glen and Martha Vargas at the University of Texas.
I have been cutting gems for over eight years, which after
working as a geologist, I decided to make my passion for making
jewelry my career. I have gemology certification.I recently won
the Texas Jewelers Association student design competition. I am
now finishing up with my JA bench cerification and graduating
from the Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology in Paris, Texas.
I have been actively looking for employment with a highly
skilled goldsmith and still searching for that special person who
will take on an apprentice who would make them proud to say I
trained that guy.
