I’m a jeweler and metalsmth, B.A. degree. I have worked in the
industry for ten years and now own my own company. I design and
manufacture three lines of jewelry, the most popular of which is
sold to four hundred retailers in 47 states and 9 foreign
countries. I prefer to remain anonymous in this forum, to avoid
job applicants, but would like to discuss the techniques and
arts we all work with. I use platinum, gold, steel, titanium,
niobium, semi-precious and precious stones in my lines, and cast,
construct, do stonesetting, use most of the traditional
techniques and have devel- oped some of my own. I look forward to
