I attended a weekend workshop with a friend in 2002 and immediately
became besotted with the process of fabricating jewellery. Though I
work full time I spend every weekend at my bench learning more
through exploration. Though mostly self-taught I have trained under
Rex Steel Merten and Ernst Pfenninger all with the goal of becoming
a professional jeweller.
What I love about making jewellery is the satisfaction I get when I
see a finished piece, that kind of amazement to look at a thing and
thinking “I made that”. And I love that place I go when I’m
sitting there working.
