My name is Mandy Young and I live in Arcata Californa which is
located in the top north-west corner of the state. I resently
graduated from Humboldt State Universty where I studied jewelry
with David LaPlantz. He instilled in me a great love for
anodizing aluminum. Silver and anodized aluminum are my medium
of choice. I make one-of-a-kind pieces that incorporate a lot of
color and movement. I am also the co-chairperson of a local
metalsmiths guild called Out of Hand.
