Well, I hope I’ve done this correctly this time… I’m quite new
on the internet…I’m an English teacher at a middle school who
also happens to be a budding metalsmith. I’m presently working on
my Master’s degree in Art Ed (with a concentration in
metalsmithing…) I am most interested in seriously pursuing my
career in metalsmithing, and need some good advice on “breaking
in.” I want my work–which is coming along to appear in some
reputable galleries and such. I realize I’m probably not going
to become instantly rich, but that’s not my goal, at all. I want
to do my art, and I want to be taken seriously. It’s just time
for me to do this. That’s all folks.
