I taught 7 Haitians to make bead and wire jewelry about 1-1/2 years
ago. We had our first commercial order this year, for 600 pieces in
three styles. We are looking for more commercial orders so I don’t
have to do flea markets and craft fairs! We would be glad to
produce our designs or yours. These people have no other job.
Haiti has an 80% unemployment rate. Each person working for me is
supporting from 5 to 25 people with their pay. The one with 25 has
started a morning school for poor children. She also feeds them one
meal each day. Haitians are very hard working people and will do a
good job for your order.
