Trained in a four year apprenticeship under the tutelage of Master
Jeweler Bruce Holmgrain. I have been the owner, designer of Da Gama
Designs ( formerly C&L Lapidary) for twenty five years. I run a
small trade shop for Hartman Jewelers and The Jewelry Box. In my
studio in the Blue Ridge of Virginia, I design and construct
contemporary, one of a kind jewelry in 18K and Platinum. My pieces
are on conisgnment in several stores, and I do a few upscale
craft/art fairs as well.

some ‘problems’ from time to time.

I should point out that my good friend Larry, gave up an extremely
lucrative career in the food industry to become a jeweler. While in
the Navy, he became the Camp David Chef and prepared the grub for
three U.S. presidents and their guests. Plenty bright and no slouch.
I might also mention that he’s been a really good friend.
