My wife, Anita, and I are enthusiastic jewelry hobbyists who look
forward to retirement and creating jewelry full time. My father was a
silver artist and rockhound for thirty years before his eyes finally
made this impossible and he bequeathed his equipment to us a few
years ago. He wrote what I think is the best series on lost wax
casting for Lapidary Journal in a 6 issue article in 1976. Anita and
I have recently expanded our studio to include dichroic glass
which we are enjoying as a complement to metal.
