I have been working with various mediums in the past few years
making jewelry. I now feel the need to progress to what I feel
is the next level of the craft- lost wax casting. I wanted to take
a class at the local vocational tech, but because of current
circumstances I am unable to. I have decided to learn on my own.
I am currently reading “Modeling in Wax for Jewelry and
Sculpture” by Lawrence Kallenburg. I also have a copy of " The
Complete Metalsmith" by Tim McCreight. I am trying to be as
frugal as possible getting started, and would greatly appreciate
any that you are willing to share with a beginner.
