Hello- My name is John Anderson and I have been teaching Jewelry
and metalsmithing at Barrington High school in
Barrington,Illinois for twenty years. Karen Seymour-Ells told me
about “Orchid” so I thought I should take a look. I saw her
yesterday at a workshop at N.I.U.on Plique-a-jour enameling
presented by Valeri Timofeev. It was a revelation.
I’ve had the opportunity to study with some great people; Fred
Fenster, John Marshall, Lee Peck, and Ramona Solberg.
My educational background in Metalsmithing includes a B.F.A. from
the University of Washington and an M.F.A. from Northern
Illinois University.
