site now offers improved navigation tools and many new features,
including an easy-to-use online shopping cart with expanded offerings
including accessories and books. According to Barbara Carleton,
creator of the Jewelry Designer Manager™ software program, “I had
wanted to improve the features of the site for almost a year, and our
new product offerings provided the perfect opportunity to integrate
the launch with their release.”
Integral to the site launch is the pre-release of JDM Deluxe 4.0
software expected to be available early in 2006. The Jewelry Designer
Manager™ software program allows jewelry designers to accurately
cost and price finished jewelry pieces, inventory parts, and track
and manage customers and sales. The new Deluxe version includes all
the features of the Standard and Pro versions plus it tracks
consignment and memos; links to QuickBooks; and prints jewelry tags
and labels on a thermal label printer. You can now print your company
logo and images of jewelry pieces on reports including Invoices and
Price lists.
Another feature of the web site is a rotating display of jewelry
designed by JDM users, who are invited to submit an image of their
favorite piece. “I wanted to feature the creations of JDM customers”
