I have strong interest in getting into the jewelry industry. I’m a
beginning designer, (my major in college was English), making a few
pieces which I’ve sold to the gallery shop of the arts college where
I work. I make mostly “fun” jewelry now–more youth- and
trend-oriented–but would like to one day make fine jewelry. I’ve
taken a few classes in bead stringing and basic metal work. I’m
taking a metals class this summer. My main goals are mastery of
fundamental techniques and developing my own personal style.
