I have been involved in Jewelry Making for over twenty years.I
sold my first ring at 10 years old. At the age of 14 I started
to think of goldsmithing as a career.At the age of 17 I could not
find a master goldsmith,so I began working with a dental lab. to
learn the finer points of lost wax casting.
At 18 years old I began to apprentice with a fine Jeweler.I also
began to study at Ohio State University.My major course of study
was Fine Art.I studied with Donald Duncan who is an excellent
Silversmith. Mr. Duncan recieved a Fulbright scholership to
study in Copenhagen. During this same peroid I took classes with
Vada Beetler who was a great Jewelery Artist in her own rite.
I spent meny years in Columbus Ohio, Making jewelry daily.I
opened a trade shop on N.High St. It was there where I met Eva
,Who was to become my Wife. Eva and I left Ohio for Vienna,
Austria. While there I looked for more chances to grow with my
work.I was very lucky to meet And try out with an Excellent Firm
who is known as one of the best Vienna has to offer.Louis &
Gerhard located behind the Vienna Opera.During the next year I
was pushed by the firm to grow. We made meny pieces from the turn
of the centry.I was emplowed as a wax carver and cut stones when
needed.
Today I own a retail jewelry store in Bonita, Springs, Fl…Our
