I'm sure I'll be opening a can of worms here, but that's nothing
new. First, lest me say that I don't always agree with GIA's grading
reports, either. However, my opinion seldom differs more than one
color or clarity grade from theirs, if at all (even though I am GIA
trained). That being said, my opinion often differs as much as two
color grades and one clarity grade from IGI and AGA. If you don't
posess a graded set of masterstones (diamond, not CZ), or have the
training and experience to grade the stone in question, seriously
consider taking it to an experienced gemologist who does and can.
