Interesting clasps for chains

I posted this a couple of days ago but it never showed up in the
group. So here’s another attempt:

Happy New Year everyone. I’m still on my kick of chain making
(Stark’s book). Some of the pictures in her book illustrate
interesting clasps but give no instructions. I’m still at the
"need step by step" phase of jewelry making. Does anyone have
any book suggestions for interesting clasp designs?

Thanks in advance. Rita

Have you seen the book Jewelry Making by Maurie Bovin (I think
that’s the correct spelling) he offers many styles of clasps.
And don’t forget Charle Lewton Brain . . .who offers a book on
hinges!

I don’t do clasps, but find that toggle’s do keep things
together. \ The Fish (aka: the other Rita)

HI… Nice to hear about the clasps. Jean has the most
beautiful and varied clasps and more then enough for years…
They are glorious… I shall tell her to be sure to see that more
get in her book next time… We just had a workshop in florida and
even more chains and ideas came out of it… Shall tell her your
wants… cal Gangi

Great Calgang. Is she really working on another book now? When
will it be out? I can hardly wait! How would I find out about
her upcoming workshops? Does she have a flyer or mailing list?

Yes, I ask too many questions,
