Important occupational & healthy safety information

#1

Good day,

If you’re not familiar with the National Institute for Occupational
Safety and Health, it’s a great resource. Two of the more important
sections aRe:

International Chemical Safety Cards:
http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/ipcsneng/nengname.html.

This area lists on hundreds of the most common chemicals
as well as their acute hazards & symptoms, prevention, and first
aid/fire fighting.

Occupational Health & Safety Topics:
http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/topics/.

This area lists issues on lung, eye, and hearing protection in
addition to many other types of safety concerns in the workplace.

You can always find the above links on the SAS site’s Shop Safety
link under Shop Talk.

Be safe!
