I don’t know if I missed a post – but I don’t quite understand
why the contact in the USSR is expecting that s/he will be able
to find pietersite there – as was pointed out, it comes from
Africa and would have to be imported into the USSR – not
something that would necessarily happen.
What they could try doing is describing/showing tiger eye and
explaining that pietersite looks similar with more lines and
swirls and more blue/green colours in it.
