Looking for ideas for a necklacelasp that can easily break away for
safety reason but strong enough to stay around the neck. Ideas other
than a magnets please
How about an open loop that attaches the clasp? Use something strong
enough to hold most of the time. I think 18g (1mm) sterling or 20g
(.8mm)14K would be easy answers.
I applaud your concern about safety. I’ve seen more than one
bracelet mangled but released with the open link. Necklaces have the
same risk.
