How to search for old threads

I have not been successful searching for old threads, which I found to be very easy on the old site. Where is the Search for searching old Archives? For instance, how would we search for the old posts on snake chain soldering recently referred to in someone’s post?

There are recent posts under different categories relating to problems Orchidians have been finding with searching for old posts–perhaps they should be combined?
