If I am working with brass where it is heated to anneal and solder, I soak it in super pickle when I am done then finish. Seems to work for me…Rob

It’s been a while, but I seem to remember that “super pickle” works well on nickel silver too. With sterling silver getting close to $100 per oz, nickel may get used more.
