I didn’t start this thread; but does any one in Orchidland know of
any good books that cover how to carve cameos? I am interested to
see how the different materials are approached (shell, ivory, lava,
agate…) by artists experienced in carving in very low relief. I’m
already a commercial sculptor, so an advanced book would be great!
