How Omega clip works?

I am an apprentice in jewelry manufacturing. I tried making an omega
clip but was not successful. Can anyone explain how an omega clip
works. Why does it spring forward or backward after a particular
angle is reached.

Please help me out.

Rahul,

It springs forward or backward because the clip is, literally, a
spring. You need to make it using hard wire, which will act like a
spring.
